The Colombian Pacific Coast is one of the least developed regions of the country and therefore more vulnerable to the effects of poverty. The majority of its inhabitants have the characteristics of a population that is geographically inaccessible to health services and where there is no care strategy in practice that brings these services closer to citizens.
